Location
The Home is situated in Neelangarai which is 8 kilometres from Thiruvanmiyur in the lane opposite to Maruthi showroom in East Coast Road.
The Complex
The newly constructed complex comprises of 34 individual cottages of 400 square feet each Every flat contains a hall, kitchen and a bedroom with attached bathroom and latrine (European Western closets. Adequate ventilation, space for car parking and tile flooring are other features of the complex.
Furnishing
Every flat is fully furnished with 2 cots, beds, pillows, bed sheets, refrigerator, geyser, air conditioner, chairs, dining tables, fans and lights. In case of any repairs and replacement of the above said items, the charges must be borne by the inmates.
Gym Facility
Regular Exercise and walking has become part and parcel of our life for a healthy living. It is very important for diabetic patients in order to re-juanate the body and maintain their blood sugar level. Basic gym equipments are available in our home for the inmates to be fit. Ample space is available for walking in and around the home.
Internet and Telephone Facilities
Computer and telephone facility is available for browsing and video chatting. The then Prevailing market charges applicable.
Medical Facilities
Doctor visits the Home once in fortnight and check all the inmates. Separate medical file will be provided for all the inmates. In case of any medical emergencies, the inmate shall be taken to the nearest health centre or hospital by our attendants or doctor will be called to attend the inmate. Nearest medical centres within 1 km radius from the Home are Vasan eye care hospital, Sugan hospital, Shanthi hospital, GM heart foundation, GM tooth care, GM ortho care, Sunanya eye hospital,Global hospital, Sugan ortho care, Dr, Suchithra Raj Mohan skin clinic etc. Oxygen cylinder, First aid kit and other medical equipments are available in our Home. We have trained nurses to take care of bed ridden patients. Surya Lab is also near our Home. Nearby Medical shops ar Apollo Mediacal, New Preethi medical, Sriram medicals, Sri medicals, Surya medicals etc.
Note: The medical expense must be borne by the inmates.

House Keeping
The flat shall be swept and moped every day. The inmates’ clothes shall be washed on payment of Rs.10 per head per day (which implies Rs.300 per month per person) Washing materials like soap, detergent etc.., should be provided by the inmates.
Security
The complex is well protected with highly raised compound walls all around and by round the clock supervisors.
Guest
Guests shall stay along with the inmates in their flat on payment of Rs.500 per day for their accommodation and food. Visitors are allowed to meet the inmates everyday between 3 pm – 6 pm only.

The utility services such as laundry , tailor shop, saloon, spa, banks are located nearby. Nearby ATM centres are HDFC, ICICI, IDBI & INDIAN BANK ATM.
Celebration of Festivals
All religious and national festivals of the year shall be celebrated in the Home. Special menu shall be prepared during such days (pandigai thaligai) . One can celebrate their wedding day, birthday, anniversaries, sashtiyaptha poorthi, sadhabhishegam, remembrance day (ninaivu naal) etc., in our Home for which a sum will be collected from the donor in order to organize the event and prepare dishes.

- Colour TV is fixed in every flat along with cable connection (inmates should bear the cable connection charges).
- A well equipped library with religious , spiritual, social and informative books is made available and kept open always.
- Weekly Bhajans are arranged to refresh the soul.
- News papers and magazines are available in a regular basis on payment.
- 2 cinema theatres are near by the Home.
- 6 temples are near our Home namely Hare Krishna temple, Sai temple, Thirunelakandeshwarar temple, Ambal temple, Subramaniya swamy temple etc.
- Clean and calm beach is very near to our Home.
Things to be carried while joining
The inmates are requested to bring their clothing, medicines, plastic buckets(2), mugs (2), eating plates, 4 small bowls, 2 dabara tumbler sets, a big flask and a garbage basket.
